Diamond InlaysEly
With this project I came highly recommended to the clients. So the only requests were that they wanted somewhere to dine outside and another place to chill out in. The rest was left to me. It was a small plot due to a extension to the rear of the property. Also we had a large summer house at the bottom of the garden. Also we had a big difference in the levels between the kitchen door and the summer house. The two remaining boundaries were not looking to good so I decided early on that I would use a plastic coated metal screening to help hide them.
The design consisted of a porcelain patio being laid with diamond inlays as a extension to kitchen with raised planters wrapping around the patio with a large set of steps leading to another paved area at the bottom witch was also laid to porcelain paving to create a area to chill out in. I also brought the sound of water in to the concept bye constructing a small rill and water blade exiting from a tiled raised planter. As I do on all my projects if the client requires we went to the garden centre to select various plants etc and planted up the garden to complete the project.
